Shaykh Sharafudeen Sa'adudeen Ajara narrated thus (during an interview with YAYI TV);
Shaykh Gibrima (1902 - 1975) had a miraculous meeting/interaction with Shaykh Jamiu Būlala (1916 - 1989). Shaykh Gibrima had actually passed away about 10 years prior to that time.
I was sitting with Shaykh Jamiu Būlala, and then I expressed my regret for not meeting Shaykh Gibrima during his lifetime. Shaykh Jamiu smiled and continued preparing tea.
As we were seated at the verandah, a tall man dressed in pure white dress appeared. Shaykh Būlala asked him his name, and he replied, "You summoned me, so you should know!" Shaykh Jamiu explained it was for my friend's sake (he was referring to me), and the man revealed his name as Gibrima.
Shaykh Būlala urged me to greet him, but I hesitated, aware he had passed away 10 years prior. Shaykh Jamiu insisted, so I shook hands with Shaykh Gibrima.
They had conversation in Hausa and Arabic, discussing various matters. After a while, Shaykh Gibrima left, walked a bit and vanished into thin air. We didn't see him any longer.
Such extraordinary experiences are rare in this era!

Bughyat al-Mustafid is one of the most important works on the history and rulings of the Tijani Tariqah. Written by Sidi al-Arabi ibn Sa'ih, nicknamed the "Bukhari of the Path", it summarizes the biographical accounts from Jawahir al-Ma'ānī and codifies the rulings of the path that had been scattered in different locations. The author's critical placement in the history of the path, having met many of the Companions of the Shaykh himself, as well as many of the imminent muqaddams, made him an indispensable source of clarity on many of the issues a Tijani disciple will face while walking the path.
The book also serves as a bridge to longer or more complicated works. It has been said, "If you want to read Jawahir al-Ma'ani, read Bughyat al-Mustafid first." This is because he clarifies some of the issues in Jawahir al-Ma'ani that may lead to a disciple having doubts or some misunderstandings.
