Rabba-l ‘Ibādi (Lord of the Slaves) is a Prayer Acrostic of Shaikh Ibrahim Niasse. He composed it chronologically with Qur’an Chapter23:Verse29 '[Rabbi anzilni munzalan mubarakan, wa Anta khayrul munzileen]'}…supplication of Prophet Noah.

[Supplication of Prophet Noah]
 ﺭَﺏِّ ﺃَﻧْﺰِﻟْﻨِﻲ ﻣُﻨْﺰَﻟًﺎﻣُﺒَﺎﺭَﻛًﺎ ﻭَﺃَﻧْﺖَ ﺧَﻴْﺮُ ﺍﻟْﻤُﻨْﺰِﻟِﻴﻦ

Rabbi anzilnii munzalaan mubaarakaan, wa Anta khayrul munzileen

“..My Lord, let me land in a blessed place (in peace and safety and) with blessings from You. You are the Best to cause people to land in peace and safety.” 

RABBI ANZILNIY MUNZALAAN MUBAARAKAAN, WA ANTA KHAYRUL MUNZILEEN
Ra:
رب العباد غافر الذنوب ** وقابل التوب لتقبل توبي
1. Rabbal 'ibâdi ghâfiraz-zunûbî ** wa qâbilat-tawbi lit-taqbal tawbî
Lord of the worshippers, forgiver of sins,
Accepter of repentance, accept my repentance,


B:
بطيب جئتك إلاهي تائبا ** وطالبا وخاضعا وائبا
2. Bi tayba ji'tuka ilâhî tâ'ibâ ** wa tâliban wa khâdi'an wa â'ibâ
To Tayba have I come, my God, in a state of repentance,
And seeking (You), humbling myself and returning,


Bi:
بمنزل مبارك تنزلني ** وانفع هنا جميع من قصدني
3. Bi manzilin mubârakin tunzilunî ** wanfa'-hunâ jamî'a man qasadanî
Cause me to settle in a blessed habitation,
And benefit, here, all those who seek me out,


A:
أجري فيوض العلم والأرزاق ** لزمرتي وهذبن أخلاقي
4. Ajri fuyûdal 'ilmi wal arzâqi ** li zumratî wa hadh-dhiban akhlâqî
May my wage be floods of knowledge and sustenance,
For my circle; and discipline me in my conduct,


N:
نالتهم الأسواء قاسوا المحنا ** فداركنهم وأكثر مننا
5. Nâlat-humul aswâ'u qâsûl mihanâ ** fadârikannahum wa akthir minanâ
Hardships have reach them and they have endured trials,
So, overtake them and multiply their blessings,


Zi:
زلت لبعض منهم الأقدام ** فلتسمحن لهم ففيك هاموا
6. Zal-lat li ba'din min-humul aqdâmu ** faltasma'an lahum fafîka hâmû
Some of their feet have slipped out from under them,
But pardon them; for it is You that they have really intended,


L:
لين لهم من لين الحديدا ** لمن أردت وأرفع القيودا
7. Layyin lahum man layyanal hadîdâ ** liman aradta warfa'i-l quyûdâ
Treat them tenderly, o, You who softens iron,
For whomever You will and remove their chains,


Ni:
نراهم في البسط والرخاء ** أولي ديانة مع الألأء
8. Narâhumu fil basti wa-r-rakhâi ** ûlî diyânatin ma'a-l âlâ'i     
That we may see them in expansion and ease,
People of thankfulness, along with favors,


Y:
يمنا وصحة وبذلا زائدا ** سقها لأحبابي وأبقي عابدا
9. Yumnan was-sihhatan wa bazlan zâ'idâ ** suq-hâ li-ah’bâbî wa abqâ 'âbidâ
Safety, health and granting of rains,
To quench the thirst of my beloveds and perpetuate Your worshipper,


Mu:
من طيبة أسدي إلي الظواهر ** وأنت تدري باطني وظاهري
10. Min taybatin usdî ilâ-z-zawâhiri ** wa anta tadrî bâtinî wa zâhirî
From Taybah, let it spread forth to
And You are aware of my interior and exterior,


N:
نال المني من قد أتاني أولا ** واخرا يااخرا يا أولا
11. Nâlal munâ man qad atânî awwalâ ** wa âkhirân yâ âkhiran yâ awalâ
They have obtained their objective who came to me first,
As well as those who came later, o, Last! O, First,


Za:
زال عن الأحباب كل ضير ** وقد أتاهم منك كل خير
12. Zâla 'ani-l ahbâbi kullu dayri ** wa qad atâhum minka kullu khayrin
All hardship has been removed from my beloveds,
And there has come to them, from You, all good,


L:
لا ضرهم تنافس في الفاني ** إذ كل مايرون حينا فاني
13. Lâ darrahum tanâfusun fil fânî ** idh kullu mâ yarawna hînân fânî
No harm will come to them from competing in the ephemeral world,
Since all that they see now is annihilated,


An:
أيدهم إذ قل كفؤ نعم ** ونجنا من غضب ونقم
14. Ayyid-humu idh qalla kuf'-u ni‘ami ** wa najjinâ min ghadabin wa niqami
Assist them when they are unable to obtain blessings,
And save us from anger and vengeance,



Mu:
مصدقين متصدقينا ** وصائمين الدهر حافظينا
15. Musaddiqîna mutasaddiqînâ ** was-sâ'imîna-d-dahra hâfizînâ
Sincere are our charitable people,
And those who fast incessantly are our guardians,


B:
 باعو النفوس ثم والأموالا ** كالمومنين حبذا أحوالا
16. Bâ'û-n nufûsa thamma wa-l amwâlâ ** ka-l mu'minîna habadhâ ahwâlâ
They have sold themselves and their wealth,
Like true believers; how excellent their states,


A:
أجب أيارب بسر الذات ** وسر الأسماء او الصفات
17. Ajib ayâ Rabbi bi sirri-dhâtti ** wa sirri-l asmâ'i awi-s-sifâti
Respond, o my Lord, by the Secret of the Essence,
And the Secret of the Names or the Attributes,


Ra:
رب أيارب فتمم فعلا ** ماقد قصدت أي تريهم نيلا
18. Rabbi ayâ Rabbi fa-tammim fi'lâ ** mâ qad qasadtu ay turîhim naylâ
My Lord! O, my Lord! Complete the enactment,
Of that which I have sought; show them their attainment,


K:
كما أجبت كل عبد سألا ** فيما مضى فحققن الأملا
19. Kamâ ajabta kulla 'abdin sa'alâ ** fîmâ madâ fa-haqqiqanna-l-amalâ
As You have loved every slave who requests,
In the past, realize my hopes,


An:
أنت الذي ترزق من تشاء ** متى تشا كما تشا ماشاءو
20. Anta-l lazî tarzuqu man tashâ'u ** matâ tashâ kamâ tashâ mâshâ'u
It is you who provides for whomever You will,
Whenever You will, however you will, with whatever You will,


Wa:
وأنت أكرم وأنت أرحم ** وأنت أجود وأنت أعلم
21. Wa anta akramu wa anta ar-hamu ** wa anta ajwadu wa anta a‘alamu
And You are the Most Generous and You are the Most Merciful,
And You are the Most Openhanded and You are the Most Knowing,


A:  
أنت الغني القادر المريد ** ولا يكون غير ماتريد
22. Antal Ghaniyyu-l Qâdiru-l Murîdu ** wa lâ yakûnu ghayra mâ turîdu
You are the One who is Free of Need, the All-Capable, the Willing,
And nothing is, except that which You have willed,


N:
نظر لطف ثم عطف كافي ** إذ انك الحي الودود الكافي
23. Nazara lutfin thumma 'atfin kâfî ** idh annaka-l Hayyu-l Wadûdu-l Kâfî
A look of Beneficence and of Gentleness suffices,
Since You are the Living, the Loving, the Sufficient,


Ta:
تقلب الأعيان بالاعيان ** فلترفع الأقوام في أزماني
24. Tuqallibu-l a‘ayâna bil a‘ayâni ** fal tarfa'i-l aqwâma fî azmânî
You exchange essences for essences,
So, raise our people throughout the ages,


Kha:
خرلي صحبا فضلا وخرلي ** من كل شيئ خيره وكن لي
25. Khirlî sah-bân fudalâ wa khirlî ** min kulli shay'in khayrahû wa kun lî
Select for me excellent companions, and select,
For me, the best of everything; and be for me,


Y:
يارب بالهادي وصحب الهادي ** فلتكف صحبي كل شر غادي
26. Yâ Rabbi bi-l Hâdî wa sahbi-l Hâdî ** fal-takfi sahbî kulla sharrin ghâdi
O, my Lord, by the Guide and the Companions of the Guide,
Suffice my companions every evil …,


Ru:
رب الأمين أعط بالأمين ** كل مطالبي لكل حين
27. Rabbal amîni a‘ati bil amîni ** kulla matâlibî bi-kulli hîni
Lord of the Trustworthy! Grant, by the Trustworthy,
All my requests at all times,


‘:
أعط العبيد بغية وعجلا ** لي بالأجابة أحب العجلا
28. A‘atil 'ubayda bughyatan wa 'ajjilâ ** lî bil ijâbati uhibbu-l 'ajalâ
Grant Your lowly slave attainment and swiftly,
Respond to me; I love swiftness,


L:
لما تعودت أراني نلت ** كل المطالب وإني فزت
29. Limâ ta‘awwadtu arânî niltu ** kulla matâlibi wa innî fuztu
Congruent to what I am accustomed to, show me that I have achieved,
All of my endeavors and that I have been successful,


Mu:
ماقط أبت خائبا من ربي ** بل كلما أبت شكرت أوبي
30. Mâ qattu ubtu khaa'ibân min Rabbî ** bal kullamâ ubtu shakar’tu awbî
I have never been turned away unsuccessful from my Lord,
Rather, every time I have returned, I have been grateful for my return,


N:  
نعمه في ظاهر وباطن ** أسبغ لي في الغيب والمواطن
31. Ni‘amahû fî zâhirin wa bâtini ** asbagha-lî fil ghaybi wa-l mawâtini
His Blessings, outwardly and inwardly,
Has He bestowed upon me, hiddenly and manifestly,


Zi:
زال تكدري وذاك أعظم ** موهبة وهبها من يكرم
32. Zâla takaddurî wa zâka a‘azamu ** mawhibatin wahabahâ man yukrimu
My annoyances have been removed and that is the greatest,
Gift that the One who ennobles could ever give,


Li:
لدي حوالي طيبة فلتطردا ** كل الشرور وأبدا وسرمدا
33. Ladâ hawâlay taybatin fal-tatrudâ ** kulla-sh-shurûri abadân wa sarmadâ
For Taybah and its surrounding areas, ward off,
All evil perpetually and forever,


Y:
يارب صلين على المختاري ** واله وصحبه الأخيار
34. Yâ Rabbi salliyan 'ala-l Mukhtârî ** wa âlihî wa sahbihi-l akhyâri
O, my Lord, send blessings upon the Elect,
His elect family and companions,     


Na:
نعم الشفيع المصطفى ونعما ** لي الوسيلة أزال الغما
35. Ni'ma-sh-shafî'ul Mustafâ wa ni‘imâ ** liya-l-wassîlatu azâla-l ghammâ
How excellent an intercessor is the Chosen One,
And how excellent for me as an intermediary for removing worries.

AMEEN THUMMA AMEEN!!!

نفعنا الله وإياكم بالدعاء رب العباد
