Bulītu bi-ubbi-l Muṣṭafā-l khatmi Amadā ** Abī-l kawni wa-l akhlāqi farʿān wa matidā

I am infatuated in the love of al-Mustafa, Ahmad, the seal (of prophethood), the source of  being and epitome of virtues in all its ramifications

Atānī hawāhu qabla an aʿarifa-l hawā ** ulītu bi-nīrāni-sh shtiyāqiya Amadā

I fell in love with him ever before I was acquainted with what love is all about. I was inflamed with the fire of my longing for Ahmad.

ʿAliqtu bihi wa-n nāsu fī sinati-l karā ** Tamatta‘atu minhu-d dahra idh kuntu mufradā

I clinged on to him while men are in deep slumber. I derived pleasure in him whenever I was alone.

Wa-zūḥimtu fī hādhā-z zamāni wa-innanī ** Lafī ghayratin mimmā yarūmu Muammadā

I encountered rivalry in this age. Verily, I jealous whoever compete with me in the love for Muhammad.

Wa-lākinnanī jalaytu qabla sibāqihim ** Wa-qad niltu tabrīza-l qurūni li-Amadā

Fortunately, I outstripped them. Indeed, I became nurturer of this generation (because) of my love for Ahmad.

 Wa-lim lā wa-ʿizzu-l ʿabdi ʿizzu malīkihi ** Fa-awʿu yaminī-l kawnu ʿabdān musawwadā

And why not, the honour of a slave is analogous to that of his master. The creation are subservient to me, despite that I am a black servant.

 Alā Yā Rasūl-Allāh wa-rfaʿ shikāyatī ** Ilayka wa-ḥālī mā tarā al-ʿabda sawwidā

O messenger of Allah! Intervene in my grievances and life vicissitude, as you could see me in a leadership position.

 Fa-ḥājī wa-ḥāja-l muslimīna aaltuhu ** ʿAlayka fa-ibta-n nafsa hurān musar’madā

I refer the provision of my needs and the needs of the entire Muslims upon him and I feel delighted upon (SAW) I am an eternally free servant.

Zamānī alqu-l waj’hi ghayru mukaddarin ** Arūḥu wa-aghdū dāimān lan ukammadā

I was always in a state of euphoria without distress and I did not experience dejection all days long.
